Uppercuts Barber Academy is proud to be a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), recognized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and approved to host international students in Canada. Our academy also meets the standards set by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills in British Columbia.
We are committed to delivering a high standard of post-secondary education through hands-on, career-focused training. As a designated institution, our programs are regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with provincial education quality standards and consumer protection guidelines.
Being a designated institution not only affirms the quality of our education but also enables international students to apply for study permits and other benefits through the Canadian government.

We are committed to providing quality education and industry-relevant training for aspiring barbers in Canada and beyond. Uppercuts Barber Academy is actively working toward receiving our official Designation and Education Quality Assurance (EQA) certifications in 2025.
